English Pour Tout Le Monde (EPTLM) is a new English – speaking charity which aims to teach English to refugees, asylum seekers and the underpriviliged in Paris, as well as providing expatriates with guidance regarding volunteering opportunities with other organisations in the city.
In the space of a few months EPTLM has helped many people to boost their potential through learning a new language, and has helped a significant number of expats to settle in Paris whilst helping those in need. The charity’s rapid expansion means it is looking take on a number of new volunteers, including qualified English teachers, learning assistants and others wishing to do other work such as working in soup kitchens.
The charity offers full training, free of charge, to new volunteers as well as a great opportunity to meet new people from around the world. Katie Ogilvie, EPTLM’s President and co–founder, said: ‘EPTLM is a strong charity which is working hard to both help those in need to develop their talents and to assist English – speaking expatriates to use their skills to help others, whether it’s with our team or with our partner organisations. We pride ourselves on our warm welcome, our commitment to excellent training, and above all to delivering sustainable help where it really matters’.
EPTLM would like anyone interested in joining this exciting project to contact them at info@eptlm for more information, and to arrange an initial chat about their work.
