Notre-Dame International High School will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year. The school, located in Verneuil-sur-Seine, Yvelines, has been an IB World School® since 2018. Welcoming international students for a real bilingual school experience where they live and study on a French campus and have the opportunity to benefit from a bi-cultural environment.
Notre-Dame students attend an American styled IB curriculum leading the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program®. The school also teaches them the French language from Beginner to Advanced levels. While many international students opt for boarding accommodation (5 day or 7 day boarding), some choose to live with a French host family for a further language and cultural immersion. Pupils often reach bilingualism within a year or two and enlarge their career opportunities in Europe and abroad. Most graduates go on to attend universities in the United States or other English speaking countries while some opt for French universities and schools.
Many alumni have furthered their careers on an international level and currently live abroad but look forward to returning to France to celebrate the school’s 10th anniversary. Current students will no doubt benefit from their experience and advice.
