‘Lulu Dans Ma Rue’ COncierge Service

Thinking about sprucing up the spare room before your parents arrive? Want to give your home a really thorough cleaning before your mother-in-law gives it the “white glove treatment”? How about finally assembling that IKEA bureau (aren’t you supposed to have left over screws?)… not to mention all those toys for the kids? Luckily, there is a solution to these and other pressing domestic issues thanks to Lulu Dans Ma Rue, a new concierge service for the everyman…

Founder Charles Edouard Vincent created Lulu Dans Ma Rue in 2014 to provide a variety of small services ranging from handiwork to housework. These services are broken down into 6 different categories and can include house cleaning, window washing, babysitting, sewing, dog walking and computer services, just to name a few. The organization connects workers, known as Lulus, with clients.

All potential Lulus must meet 3 important criteria: a proven skillset; an amiable personality and a reliable, conscientious work ethic.

Service fees range from 5-10 euros per 20 minutes depending on the service performed. Once the task has been completed, you will receive a receipt followed by a quality satisfaction assessment via phone. As all of the Lulus are self-employed they are insured and registered. Additionally, as this is a non-profit organization, 50% of the fees may be tax deductable depending on the service provided.
