Website Le Foodist
What your role will be:
You will work closely with Le Foodist management and be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing digital strategy to multiply the number of people purchasing Le Foodist experiences on-line by 5 over the next 5 years. Your main focus can be summarized as increasing both qualified traffic toward our website and conversion on the website. How you do this is what really matters though.
To do so, you will leverage all tools at the disposal of a digital marketer: SEO, SEA, Social Media, UX optimisation , emailing– and more if you know more. As a support to this work, you will develop and implement a content strategy encompassing the generation and diffusion of relevant text, images, videos in various channels. By implementation we mean you will be responsible for generating this content either yourself or through chosen partners.
Finally, you will also support management on operational marketing issues as they arise such as securing brand names, developing printing material for trade fairs, and other ad hoc needs.
You will report directly to the managing director of the company.
Fluency in written and spoken English and a previous successful experience in digital marketing are required. During an interview for this position you will demonstrate some expertise in at least two of the critical areas highlighted above (SEO, SEA, Social Media management, UX optimisation, emailing), and some experience in the other areas – or at least enough interest that you will have learned about it and be able to engage in a conversation about it during an interview.
A full description is provided in French below – because we are in France. But you do not actually need to speak French to apply for this job.
An ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate already has demonstrated success in digital marketing, but also “knows what she – or he – does not know”. This latter statement will be critical to your success as a marketer at Le Foodist (and actually anywhere else).
In order to be successful you will (obviously) need to be interested in food, creative, agile – understand by this “good at doing a lot with little” – and excited about measuring the impact of what you do, and continuously learning from it. An obsession with ROI will definitely be a plus.
While able to think strategically, you will however very much need to be a “doer” – get your hands dirty in marketing.
Why should you do it:
You should be excited about joining Le Foodist because we are very much a start-up and in your role, the opportunities to learn and to have an impact abound – and our small team is actually a nice team.
