Position: Android Developer with no less than 3 years of direct Android experience.
This is Junior to mid-level role for someone who has at least 3 years’ experience developing Android mobile applications.
Ozion
Ozion Airport Software, a leading software vendor of mission-critical applications for airports, is looking for a gifted Android developer. The ideal candidate is a driven individual who wants to become Ozion’s chief Android developer. Ozion develops and sells advanced solutions to airports to run their missions critical services : passenger screening, ground-handling to turn around planes and assistance to passengers with reduced mobility.
Each of these services relies on a large team of mobile agents who perform time and passenger-sensitive tasks centrally dispatched and piloted using one of Ozion’s dedicated airport service management platforms. The mobile agents are equipped with hardened Android PDAs (tough Smartphones) to receive their job instructions, communicate their position and progression while the central back-office part of the solution monitors and helps run the overall operation. Your job will be to take charge of the Android side of Ozion’s software development.

Skillset
You have 3 years’ experience building Android applications, are self-driven and enjoy working as part of team. You take ownership of your projects and are known for your determination to find the right solutions, get the job done and do so on time.
You like to work out answers to complex problems and to be challenged by your peers and boss, which stimulates you. You are well organized and like thing to be well done.
You have a good command of Java Script.
You know and like to write stable mobile applications that work come-what-may because a lot hangs on the Android app being reliable. Hundreds of agents use your application on their PDAs with between a few thousand and hundreds of thousands of passengers relying on those agents to catch their plane on time. The airport relies on Ozion to get it right because all the services run with Ozion’s solutions can bring the airport down by provoking multiple plane delays that can spiral out of control if the service falls behind. Last but not least, you like and know how to make Android mobile applications truly obvious to use.
Language
Your mother tongue can be English and you’ll need a sufficient level of French to communicate with your CTO
