I’ve been in France for 4 years now and have spent 3 beautiful Christmases in Avignon with my partner’s family (definitely not complaining with the “treize desserts” tradition!). This year, it is time to go home to New Zealand for Christmas on the beach. Luckily, my company (L’Oréal) was okay for me to take a full month off, so my Frenchie and I are going to have plenty of time to soak up the sun and do a classic Kiwi summer road trip. Happy holidays everyone!

This is my third year living in France and the first time I’m actually spending the holidays in France! I’m going down to Flayosc in Provence to spend Christmas with my boyfriend’s parents and then traveling to Italy to ring in the New Year! To make myself feel more at home, I’m throwing a holiday cookie/treat exchange party.

This is my second Xmas in Paris and I’ll be spending dinner with a lot of French food and champagne; and some Skype calls from family & friends!

I’m joining the partner’s annual family ski trip this year. I’ll attempt a spot of skiing, but what’s more important is enjoying plenty of stinky melted cheese and wine together. Then a quick trip to Oz to thaw out on the beach!

This Christmas I’ll be going back to La Paz with my girlfriend (who is from Normandy). We will be travelling for two weeks in Bolivia, including Lake Titicaca, Salt Flats with a short trip to Machu Picchu in Peru).

I have been living in Paris for 2 years and for Christmas this year I will be heading home to the UK. This will be my first trip back home in over a year! (I spent Christmas in Paris last year and went to the zoo on Christmas Day!) I will be spending lots of quality time with family and plan to head to Blackpool for the illuminations and the Birmingham Christmas market.
