2,245 votes were placed for the Best Tea Room category and it was A. Lacroix Pâtissier (www.alacroixparis.com) that took the title with just a small edge over Kodama. A. Lacroix Pâtissier founder, Jackie Gibson, comes from Columbus, Ohio and has been living in Paris for nine years. She originally relocated for her job in the telecom industry, but gave it all up a few years ago to pursue a dream and in August 2016 opened her own tearoom here in Paris. Expertly made pastries, locally roasted coffee, a great location in front of Notre Dame – it’s no wonder Jackie has such enthusiastic fans in the expat community. Kodama (www.shop-kodama.com) is particularly commended for their friendly spirit throughout the campaign, despite offering clients a free iced tea if they won, they didn’t quite clinch the category.
