Mad About Macarons was initially created to accompany Jill Colonna’s first French patisserie recipe book. Jill focuses on enjoying do-able, easy French (and Scottish) classic recipes, adding her own twists and enlightening stories – all using seasonal, quality ingredients. She often cheats by decorating many recipes with a macaron or two: sweet or savoury! She insists on a healthy French lifestyle and reduces unnecessary sugar that can kill flavours, (an important tip from top French pastry chefs.) Blog features include favourite Parisian tea salons and inspiring culinary discoveries.
