Boneshaker Doughnuts was founded by Cordon Bleu alumna Amanda Bankert and her husband, Louis Scott. In 2015, Amanda purchased a small home fryer for 10 euros at a garage sale in Montmartre and started making artisanal doughnuts for local coffee shops. A year later, they opened the doors of Paris’ 1st “mom and pop” doughnut shop. The Lilliputian bakery in Paris’ 2nd arrondissement serves handmade doughnuts Tuesday-Saturday. The doughnuts are made using a mix of traditional American and classic French pastry techniques.

In October, they hosted their 3rd annual Trick or Treating event in the Sentier/Montorgueil neighborhood, over 300 families, participated in the festivities!

Co-Founder tip: «Come early for the best selection of doughnuts!! We make small batches continuously throughout the day, so our doughnuts are always super fresh. The final batch is finished by about 3pm, and when they go, we close up shop (usually around 6 pm.)».
