Originally from Denny, Scotland, David Bennie was living between two countries for 15 years before making Paris his permanent home in 2005. Upon arriving in the City of Lights, David began working as a pub manager but later began to miss his original trade and in May 2015 he took the step to re-enter the world of painting and decorating. “The projects have all been coming by word-of-mouth”, says David, who has completed projects in Paris and Champagne, including houses and apartments as well as commercial projects, such as the Pure Malt Pub in the 4th arrondissement. “I’m probably the only person who gets excited about painting and decorating” explains David.
